The design of the Embassy to Budapest was subject to an assignment announced by a contest.
The size and function of the commissioned spaces were clearly assigned to the competitors in the requirements.
I designed a complex comprised of two buildings, the main building with the function of the ambassador's housing, parking, administrator’s housing, a floor for guests and a part of the building for official meetings.
The second building was meant for relaxation. There is a sauna, fitness area and swimming pool, which projects into the garden with its greater part.
